Our Vision

Our vision is Living Transformed Lives In Jesus Christ. We believe that the hungry soul of man is only satisfied in a vital, consistent relationship with Jesus Christ where He is supreme in every facet of our corporate and individual lives. This vision is what enables us to truly love one another, have our families strengthened and stabilized, experience true healing and live in complete joy.

Psalm 73:25-26 best typifies what we are about. The psalmist writes: "Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Venice Bible Church exists for seeing lives transformed through Jesus Christ. Therefore, the ministries of Venice Bible Church aim to provide a framework where a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ is encouraged and nurtured so that Christ likeness is evidenced in the individual and the Church.

Belong
This involves reaching out to the unsaved with the message and ministry of reconciliation that they might belong to Christ and His family.
                          1 Corinthians 9:19-23;  2 Corinthians 5:16-21
Grow
This aims at developing godly character in the believer by establishing them in right doctrine and a thorough working knowledge of the Scriptures that is lived out in everyday life.
                                    Psalm 119:160; John 17:17; Romans 12:1-2
Serve
We prepare the believer for doing the work of the ministry. Supplying tools for ministry, encouragement and ongoing support characterize equipping.
                        1 Corinthians 12:4-7; Ephesians 4:11-14; Colossians 4:17
Lead
We are raising up leaders for the work of the ministry by reproducing what God has done and is doing into someone else.
                                                 Matthew 9:37-38, 28:18-20

May God lead us to being able to genuinely say with the psalmist, “Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:25-26
